Shepreth Wildlife Park

We offer a selection of Onsite education packages.

Q. How long are the sessions?
We offer 1/2 hr education sessions with hands-on encounters with various animals.

Q. Who are they aimed at?
The sessions are designed for pre-school, key stage 1 & 2 children.

Q. Which topics do you cover?
The topics covered include Habitat, Animal characteristics, Adaptation, Nutrition, Movement, Sensitivity & Growth. We also look at our influence on wildlife & the environment with regard to re-cycling.

Q. Can the wildlife park come to the school with the animals?

Yes, we are more than happy to bring the wildlife to your school and give you the chance to experience wildlife in your classroom.

Based on our past success and experience we are offering schools the chance to complement their curriculum activities with a visit from our Outreach programme! These approximate 60 to 90 minute sessions cover autumn, winter, spring and summer term times giving children an entertaining close up study of various mini-beasts, reptiles, mammals and artifacts. We can tailor the programmes to suit your requirements and fit in with any stage of the curriculum.
