Wayside Museum and Trewey Mill

Wayside Museum and Trewey Mill

An evocative and unique collection of over 5000 artefacts established over 77 years ago, set within the garden and buildings of a 16th century Miller's cottage and watermill. Trewey Mill is a rare example and one of only two watermills in Cornwall producing flour today.

The museum is a 'magical' Cornish treasure trove detailing the lives of people who have lived and worked in and around the ancient and beautiful landscape of Zennor from 3000BC to the 1950s.

As many visitors comment, "The place is like a tardis!" A complete social history.

Learn about the many Zennor characters including DH Lawrence and his German wife, as well as Miss Frost and the lion house she built in her garden!
