Awarded by the Council for Learning Outside the Classroom, the LOtC Quality Badge is a national award combining the essential elements of provision – learning and safety – into ONE easily recognisable and trusted accreditation scheme for ALL types of Learning Outside the Classroom provider organisation. The LOtC Site Provider Award

The LOtC Site Provider Award is intended to recognise those organisations which actively welcome schools onto their sites and ensure that those sites and any other services provided meet the needs of schools. The LOtC Resource Provider Award is intended to recognise those organisations that provide products and services which genuinely assist teachers in delivering LOtC, and work with users to ensure that this is the case. The LOtC Mark is the first national accreditation for schools which recognises and supports the development of Learning Outside the Classroom across all subject areas. Comprising of three levels, the LOtC Mark is intended not only to recognise existing exemplary provision, but also to assist and support schools in developing their LOtC offer. Located on the edge of the North York Moors and close to Yorkshire’s Heritage Coast we are ideally situated to provide a wide range of courses in stunning natural surroundings. Within 20 minutes of the Centre you could be mountain biking on the moors, scrambling up a beck or exploring the seashore.

Situated on the Dartington Estate in Totnes, Dynamic Adventures can offer a wide variety of outdoor activities for all ages and abilities. All activities are supervised by our qualified instructors for you to enjoy a fun, safe and enjoyable session.

Tregoyd House is small and friendly, but with loads of space for activities. It’s a beautiful old mansion house (where Lord Hereford once lived) and the unique and private gardens and grounds once attracted wealthy Victorian visitors to sit and picnic by the stream.

Darley Barn Outdoor Centre is a purpose built outdoor activity centre, located at Darley Park, in the heart of the Derwent Mills World Heritage Site in Derby. It offers a wide range of outdoor activities including canoeing, orienteering, environmental and heritage pursuits.

Gateway Outdoors is a Shrewsbury based business that specialises in providing high quality outdoor instruction based entirely on the requirements of the client group. We aim to use as much of the local resources as possible at the most cost effective price for groups or individuals, to experience something new and enjoyable.

We are providers of outdoor activities, skills coaching, personal development and are the original river Severn paddlesport specialists. Based in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, the river Severn and surrounding area is our daily Playground. We operate throughout the UK & Abroad.

There Base is in the heart of Brecon town centre and is the Home of Bikes and Hikes and the Brecon Barbarians Cycling Club. The Brecon Cycle Hub offers cyclist local trail information for all the cycle hubs in the Brecon Beacons; Sennybridge, Brecon, Talgarth, Tal-y-bont on Usk, Crickhowell and Abergavenny.

Burrs Activity Centre is situated in the award winning Burrs Country Park close to the centre of Bury, with the river Irwell, the East Lancashire railway, a newly developed Caravan Club site with 80 pitches, the Brown Cow Public House, a Heritage Trail and the activity centre, all on site, it really is worth a visit.

Paul is an active mountaineer, walking, mountain biking and climbing whenever possible. For over fifteen years now he has been involved in Outdoor Education, delivering a wide range of experiences and challenges for schools, as well as many other organisations and groups,  of all ages, ability and backgrounds. 

Andy has over twenty years of experience as a teacher and coach of physical and outdoor education and can offer a wealth of helpful hints and tips to beginners and the elite. He also brings to the company a great enthusiasm for the outdoors and for working with people who want to enjoy the outdoors.

The 11 acre sailing lake is used for the centre’s dinghy, kayak, windsurfing and powerboat courses, and the waters used for angling are well stocked. For the jogging enthusiast, keeping fit is a pleasure on the Trim Track, which is situated within the park.

If you’re interested in exciting adventurous activities both on and off the water look no further, located in the Crosby Coastal Park with access to a 70 acre lake, Crosby Lakeside is ideal for taking you first trip on the water or practicing your skills.

We are a friendly dinghy sailing club offering club racing, open meetings, sail training for beginners and a wide range of social actvities.al activities

C.W.S is the main centre for water based activities on the South Coast based in Westhampnett, Chichester our extensive range of activities includes: Windsurfing, Wakeboarding, Waterskiing, and we are an approved SBDA boat driver’s award test Centre.

Water sports are fun! Whether you’re young, old, beginner or experienced, you’ll be welcome. Over the past 27 years, we have introduced thousands to the thrill and challenge of sailing, windsurfing and canoeing. Our experienced staff are patient and enthusiastic. The centre uses up-to-date and well maintained equipment.

We offer a range of dinghy sailing courses which cover all areas of the Royal Yachting Association sailing beginner and intermediate stages. Courses use a range of single-handed dinghies, toppers and picos. Our instructors teach from safety boats and are selected to work with the junior fleets for their sympathetic and sensitive approach to teaching and especially their sense of fun

Open all year round we offer a wide range of facilities for sailors and windsurfers alike. The Sailing Club enjoys 770 acres of water and is the largest inland reservoir in the south east of England.

At Mote Park Watersports Centre we provide the opportunity to take part in Sailing, Kayaking and Canoeing, Rowing and Power Boating, for anyone aged 8 years and over. Along with this, we offer Windsurfing and Stand Up Paddle boarding, all year round scuba diving lessons with a highly qualified scuba diving instructors, and first rate first aid courses for businesses and individuals.
