With enviable adventure camp locations in France, Italy, Spain and South Wales we are committed to offering schools and youth groups a wide range of adventurous activities that take place in natural outdoor environments including crags, mountains, lakes, rivers, the sea and caves. With the addition of comfortable camping in some incredible settings, this is an educational and fun experience young people will remember for the rest of their lives.

Our friendly school and group travel team are always happy to help with any queries of any nature.

Secondary Trips

Secondary school groups tell us what they love most about Acorn’s adventure camps is the challenge and thrill of our wide range of more technical activities combined with the buzz of the ‘village life’ in the private camps. Teachers also like the fact that the groups are kept active until around 9pm every evening providing some valuable down time for marking, calling home or just relaxing.

All activities are facilitated by more experienced, highly qualified instructors who become positive role models for the students, impacting heavily on their engagement, enjoyment and learning outcomes.

Primary Trips

Our comfortable and pre-erected camping villages (with standing height tents and real beds) are conveniently laid out in a horseshoe shape with a central marquee for eating and socialising.

Our villages have been designed to offer each primary school their own private camping village which makes this an easy to monitor environment as well as encouraging a `community spirit`. Most villages have a volleyball area in the centre which is popular with the children in free time and with tables and chairs outside in the village you can sit and watch the children having fun in their free time, knowing exactly where everyone is.

Additional comforts for teachers including tiled flooring, solid timber beds, a fridge (overseas), electric point, wardrobe, lamp and secure storage. We are also able to provide additional night security to suit your needs, at your request, for a small additional charge.

Once tried, primary schools keep coming back because they realise that this experience offers so much more!
