Northern Ireland is a country of beautiful countryside, historic culture and pulse-racing adventure; there is so much to do from Geography and Geology to History to Film and TV to Outdoor activities.

You and your students can visit the studios and locations where TV series Game of Thrones is filmed, go hiking in the Mountains of Mourne, discover the history of a people at the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum and travel back to the past on the Downpatrick & County Down Railway. Adventure can be found by going Canyoning or Canoeing at Tollymore National Outdoor Centre, Horse Riding at Crosskennan Lane Animal Sanctuary or taking on the High Rope course or Europe's largest trampoline park at We Are Vertigo in Belfast.

The Giant's Causeway (see picture below) is a world famous attraction formed millions of years ago when North America split from Europe. You can also visit Titanic Belfast to see where the infamously unsinkable ship was built, the zoological and botanic gardens, various castles such as Castle Coole or Castle Ward, parks, museums, zoos and farms. Plus beauty spots in the mountains and valleys of the province such as Crom or Divis and the Black Mountain.

British schoolgirl assaulted on school trip to Iceland

A viral video shows a black girl being assaulted by a white woman in a corridor.

Police in Iceland are investigating after a British schoolgirl was slapped and chased by a tour guide in a hotel corridor.

The schoolgirl, 13, who attended Harris Girls’ Academy, was assaulted whilst on a school trip to Iceland to see the Northern Lights. The incident occurred at Hotel Örk, Hveragerdi on 13th October.
