Awarded by the Council for Learning Outside the Classroom, the LOtC Quality Badge is a national award combining the essential elements of provision – learning and safety – into ONE easily recognisable and trusted accreditation scheme for ALL types of Learning Outside the Classroom provider organisation. The LOtC Site Provider Award is intended to recognise those organisations which actively welcome schools onto their sites and ensure that those sites and any other services provided meet the needs of schools. For Schools

The LOtC Mark is the first national accreditation for schools which recognises and supports the development of Learning Outside the Classroom across all subject areas. Comprising of three levels, the LOtC Mark is intended not only to recognise existing exemplary provision, but also to assist and support schools in developing their LOtC offer. Arrampica have never owned our own facility, nor will we ever do so, we have been independent and impartial for over 20 years, tirelessly focusing on ensuring our customers facilities and staff stay compliant and shine. Where we train and assess, we do so to the highest of standards, always.

Brentford Boating Arch (BBA) has been providing water sport lessons (canoe and kayaking) and development training programmes to schools, youth and community groups since 2007. Based in Hounslow beneath Kew Bridge, BBA operates under the Adventure Activities Licensing Service (AALS) ensuring that all activities follow strict safety practices.

We can provide activities such as canoeing/kayaking, mountain biking, sailing, winkling, fishing, rock climbing, weasling (crawling through large boulders), tennis, archery, dancing etc. We also do residentials with young people who our IYSS teams work with.

At Lodore we are blessed with both a great location and some great facilities.

With the majority of lake users staying towards the Keswick end we constantly find ourselves on a quiet and peaceful expanse of lake, the only way to experience the "Queen of Lakes". We also have plenty of perfect little bays and brooks to hide away from any weather that might come our way!

Leybourne Lake Watersports Centre is based in the beautiful green belt area of Kent, just 30 minutes from London and coastal Kent on the A20/M20 and A2/M2, and offers a tranquil 30 acre inland freshwater lake for water enthusiasts to experience the thrill of their chosen activity in this idyllic setting.

Located at one end of the longest village green in England, the sailing club is idyllically set. As well as racing on Sundays there is a Wednesday evening series which runs through the summer, racing start at 6.30.

 

Hall Place Outdoor Education Centre is part of the BCA (formally Berkshire College of Agriculture) in Burchetts Green, Berkshire. The centre utilises the 400 acre estate nestling in the Thames Valley offering a variety of opportunities from curriculum learning in an out of classroom setting to holiday day camps and birthday parties, skills courses and qualifications.

Established in 1980 Britain’s most experienced summer holiday operator for children and teenagers aged 3-17 years. With a host of exciting and adventurous activities to choose from.

Day camps every half term and school holiday, including specialist courses, residential bank holiday weekends and school activity days set in the heart of the Surrey Hills. London and local transport available.

Our fabulous learning and development centre, located right on the edge of the Peak District National Park is the perfect place to experience the outdoors, challenge yourself, make great friendships and grow.

Above & Below offer an amazing range of courses and diving experiences from our premier 5 Star PADI IDC diving centres in Hull and Pontefract. We have exclusive access to our own impressive 32 acre open water site called Blue Lagoon designed specifically for divers which boasts excellent visibility.

Country Cousins is one of the oldest 'English as a Foreign language' providers in England. We are a small family run business which has been providing high quality English educational visits to Junior students and families since 1951.

YMCA Weardale House is an 8 bed residential outdoor education centre, set in a 5 acre site in the heart of the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Set by the river in a picturesque wooded valley with the famous beach at ‘Westward Ho!’ just a short coach ride away, a Beam House holiday offers the convenience of the beach with a stunning rural location.  As well as the wet and wild action at the beach there’s loads of great stuff on site and off, including mountain biking on the Tarka Trail and dramatic coastal walks.

Buckden House Outdoor Education Centre is a converted manor house in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. It is run as part of the City of Bradford's education services and has been providing residential outdoor experiences to school children and students for over 30 years.

Glasbury House is an early Georgian Manor House standing in seven acres of grounds on the banks of the River Wye and has been owned by the London Borough of Redbridge and operated as an Outdoor Education Centre since 1963.

The aim of the Deben Water Sports Centre is to provide a quality facility for groups, schools and organisations to access the waterfront at Woodbridge.

In addition to being located close to rivers, caves and mountains, the centres have many on site facilities including good standard accommodation, high ropes courses, indoor climbing and traversing wall, forest schools site, camping facilities, problem solving challenges and orienteering courses.
