Watch Out For: Some weather risks with the cold Antarctic climate, and you need to apply for a visitor permit in advance of your visit to go to the area. 

Medical Issues: There aren't any mandatory vaccines or boosters for visiting South Georgia and the Sandwich Islands, but always check with a doctor before major trips.
