Arenas and Exhibition Centres

Arenas and Exhibition Centres

What are they and what do they involve?

Arenas and exhibition centres are large venues designed to hold large crowds of people that have gathered for a common purpose. Events such as conventions, trade shows and concerts can all be held in these establishments

What are the benefits?

Venues such as these are great for experiencing things you enjoy in the company of other people who enjoy it just as much! Events at arenas and exhibition centres will always be attended by enthusiastic groups of people, and the events themselves can be excellent for providing experiences unlike anything else; they can be a great accompaniment to classroom education.

What students is it suitable for?

The range of events you can attend means that you should be able to find one suitable for all students, but these venues can get very busy and overwhelming, so exercise caution with younger pupils.

Costs?

As with many events held at larger venues, the ticket/access costs can run quite high – it’s important you make sure you get value for money and ensure the event suits the interests of your students!

Safety Implications?

Groups of younger students should always be carefully supervised, especially in big venues such as an arena or exhibition centre – you should also be aware of the varying dangers of crowds such as pickpockets and claustrophobia!
