What are they and what do they involve?
The specifics of an indoor activity centre can vary greatly, but they are all places where you can participate in some sort of fun experience! Music tuition, dance, sports, and various workshops are all activities you may find at an indoor activity centre, but the specifics will differ between venues. A popular type of this venue is a soft play centre for pupils under 11, which can involve slides, ball pits and many more fun pieces of equipment to play on!
What are the benefits?
Indoor activity centres can help with many varied aspects of a student’s development – doing activities such as these will help with team building and the group dynamic will allow quieter students to build up their confidence without feeling pressured to perform. Soft play areas are also great ways of developing younger children's hand-eye coordination and physical movement in a safe and supervised environment.

British schoolgirl assaulted on school trip to Iceland
A viral video shows a black girl being assaulted by a white woman in a corridor.
Police in Iceland are investigating after a British schoolgirl was slapped and chased by a tour guide in a hotel corridor.
The schoolgirl, 13, who attended Harris Girls’ Academy, was assaulted whilst on a school trip to Iceland to see the Northern Lights. The incident occurred at Hotel Örk, Hveragerdi on 13th October.
