Maritime / Sea Life

What is it and what does it involve?

The primary purpose of maritime and sea life establishments are to bring the ways of the ocean inland and make them accessible for everybody - these venues can involve things such as famous ships now open for public enjoyment and will educate all visitors about all topics ocean related!

What are the benefits?

Learning about maritime and sea life ventures are a great way of learning about things you don’t normally get to experience – life in and on the ocean is largely unfamiliar to many people, so these kinds of venues are great opportunities to see things you never have before, and are great accompaniment to classroom learning!

What students is it suitable for?

Maritime and sea life venues are generally suitable for everyone, but you should check with the destination in question to make certain as the specifics can vary greatly differ between establishments.

Costs?

Admission costs will vary a lot depending on the content of the venue; make sure to thoroughly check out what’s in your area.

Safety Implications?

Some of these venues are boats, so if you are on deck you must make sure younger students are properly supervised and aware of any regulations in place for their safety.
