Harrogate

Much of what you see in modern Harrogate is traced back to the 18th Century when it became a spa town. You can still visit authentic Turkish baths today. The cobbled streets of the Montepellier Quarter are ideal for a spot of shopping. There are numerous art galleries to visit as well as Betty's Tea Room and The Royal Pump Room Museum, home to the largest sulphur well in Europe.

The surrounding North Yorks Moors are an area of outstanding natural beauty.
