South East

The South East of England offers some of the most picturesque sights in the country. The area is steeped in history and is home to some very famous historical land marks including Windsor Castle and Canterbury Cathedral (see above). It was home to author Charles Dickens, Prime Minister Winston Churchill, prison reformer Elizabeth Fry, political thinker Thomas Paine, and the Duke of Wellington, while there is a huge amount of World War II heritage, notably from the RAF, especially at Biggin Hill aerodrome.
