The South West of England incorporates a very diverse range of scenery with stretches of rolling hills, the beautiful Cornish peninsula and the city of Plymouth, with its naval history. There are also plenty of educational venues to visit including the Eden Project, the Minack Theatre and numerous castles, including the ruins of King Arthur's castle at Tintagel. Devon is the home of adventurous school trips, with Dartmoor and the coast often being the focus, often for students to achieve a Duke of Edinburgh Award.
