Paisley

Paisley is world famous for its paisley pattern which can be found in many forms including clothing and interior designs. Historically the town has been linked to the textiles industry which was directly responsible for the town’s growth in the 19th century. The Sma Shot Weavers Cottages have been fully restored and are full of artefacts that offer an insight into the town's rich heritage.

Meanwhile outlying areas and islands such as Staffa offer a whole host of outdoor activities, opportunities for science and nature trips, and close encounters with wildlife.
