If you're planning on a long stay or are just passing through, Czech Republic is in the centre of Europe and is a great entry point for other countries in Europe.

Landscape: Landlocked, vary varied landscape from the mountainous west to the still quite hilly east. Lakes, forests, rivers.

Climate/Seasons: warm summers and cold and snowy winters, condition vary dependent on altitude, hence good ski resorts.

When to Go: If you want to enjoy good weather in the cultural epicenter that is Prague your best bet is either late spring or early fall. However the weather throughout Czech Republic is very changeable due to its landlocked geography so it may be worth planning in and outdoor activities.

Reasons to Visit: You can see some amazing history and culture set in a beautiful country with plenty of opportunities of visiting surrounding European countries. 

How to Get There: You could fly in however if you were to travel by coach and ferry you may find there is a lot more opportunity for travel and sight-seeing on your way through other countries (not that Czech Republic doesn't have it's own wealth of amazing things to see).
