When to Go: Luxembourg is nicest in the summer, but the spring and autumn months can be lovely opportunities for a city break.

Reasons to Visit: At only 84km long, Luxembourg may be small, but is has a rich culture and impressive scenery. You can come across storybook castles hidden deep in the forests and visit museums tracing the culture and wars of the past; there will truly be something for everyone here.

How to Get There: Luxembourg only has one international airport, but the small size of the country means that proximity to your desired destination will be fairly small no matter where you are. It's also possible to access the country via the ground through countries such as France.

British schoolgirl assaulted on school trip to Iceland

A viral video shows a black girl being assaulted by a white woman in a corridor.

Police in Iceland are investigating after a British schoolgirl was slapped and chased by a tour guide in a hotel corridor.

The schoolgirl, 13, who attended Harris Girls’ Academy, was assaulted whilst on a school trip to Iceland to see the Northern Lights. The incident occurred at Hotel Örk, Hveragerdi on 13th October.
