Why Go?: Why not? Its easy to get to, has year round festivities, easy travel due to its size, reputable and accolade-worthy friendliness, lots a leisure activities available in a country brimming with history from all eras. Take a school trip somewhere a little less traditional.

Climate/Seasons: Winter is mild and windy and the summers are cool.

When to Go: As the summer climate is not too different from the winter is best to plan the trip around the attractions you'd like to visit, also bare in mind the attractions may be less crowded off-season, but then there may be less to see.

Reasons to Visit: As always it's worth considering somewhere a little different and with Denmark you won't have to go too far to find that, still within Europe and therefore easier to arrange you're guaranteed a time you won't forget.

How to Get There: There is an established ferry route from Harwich which would be ideal for a group hoping to see a few places, although if it's a city trip flying is simple and it's quite a short flight for those less keen on sea travel.

British schoolgirl assaulted on school trip to Iceland

A viral video shows a black girl being assaulted by a white woman in a corridor.

Police in Iceland are investigating after a British schoolgirl was slapped and chased by a tour guide in a hotel corridor.

The schoolgirl, 13, who attended Harris Girls’ Academy, was assaulted whilst on a school trip to Iceland to see the Northern Lights. The incident occurred at Hotel Örk, Hveragerdi on 13th October.
