Landscape: Flat plains in the north, getting progressively hillier and then mountainous in the south.

Climate/Seasons: Varying weather throughout the country - the north has cold winters and hot/humid summers with steady rainfall, while the south is drier but cooler, with heavy snow in the more mountainous areas. 

When to Go: The summer period has the nicest weather, but autumn and spring can be quite pleasant and suitable for a city break. 

Reasons to Visit: Situated in the east of Europe, Serbia has a great blend of cultural influences from all around and would be a great place to experience all sorts of European influences.

How to Get There: It's possible to enter the country on the ground, but Serbia is a fair distance away from the UK so air travel is advised - there are a number of international airports in the country you can fly to!
