Landscape: The Ganges Delta dominated the landscape, with the coastline being mostly marshy   and some higher hilly/mountainous areas inland

Climate/Seasons: Mild winters between October and March, and hot, humid summers from March to June - the monsoon period is between June and October and sees the majority of the country's rainfall.

When to Go: October to February is the best time to visit Bangladesh - this avoids the extreme heat and rain, and still has average daytime temperatures in the mid twenties.

Reasons to Visit: Bangladesh is a country both filled with people and quietly calm and green - you'll never be bored on a trip here!

How to Get There: Air travel is the best way to get to Bangladesh from the UK - there are a few international airports available for you to travel to.
