Landscape: There are two parts of Malaysia either side of the South China Sea, but both have similar landscapes with flat coastal areas getting more hilly and mountainous further inland with many forests.

Climate/Seasons: Generally high temperatures and humidity, with monsoons occurring between April - October in the southwest and October - February in the northeast.

When to Go: The temperatures vary little throughout the year so Malaysia can be enjoyable at any time, but you should avoid the monsoon seasons in each region.
