Landscape: Indonesia is made up of thousands of islands spread out over both sides of the equator, so it has many beaches. Also common in Indonesia are volcanoes and mountains, with some large lakes and rivers. 

Climate/Seasons: Temperatures vary little throughout the year, but there are distinctive wet and dry seasons; the wettest monsoon period generally falls between October and April, with the drier times between May and September.

When to Go: The dry period is the best time to visit to avoid potential flooding/mud issues.

Reasons to Visit: The exotic weather and landscape makes this a dream destination for many, but the culture and history make it educational as well as relaxing!

A viral video shows a black girl being assaulted by a white woman in a corridor.

Police in Iceland are investigating after a British schoolgirl was slapped and chased by a tour guide in a hotel corridor.

The schoolgirl, 13, who attended Harris Girls’ Academy, was assaulted whilst on a school trip to Iceland to see the Northern Lights. The incident occurred at Hotel Örk, Hveragerdi on 13th October.
