Bromley is a large suburban historic market town, chartered since 1158 and has been part of Greater London since 1965. Bromley is one of the major metropolitan centres identified by the London Plan. The town has a number of theatres, one of which was opened by HRH Prince of Wales and a selection of beautiful churches.
