Life in Plymouth - dubbed Britain's Ocean City - revolves around the water with various watersport clubs there is plenty of fun to be had. There is a local theatre, aquarium and lighthouse for you to visit. There are countless outdoor activities to undertake either up on Dartmoor doing the Duke of Edinburgh award or on the coast or out at sea. Visit the historic site on the Hoe where Sir Francis Drake spied the Armada whilst playing bowls, learn about Victorian Incarceration at the Dartmoor Prison museum or spend some time studying the animals at Dartmoor Zoo, star of the book and feature film We Bought A Zoo.

You can also visit the beautiful village of  Boscastle and its Museum of Witchcraft, splendour at King Arthur's mystical clifftop Tintagel Castle, or wonder at the space age bubbles of the Eden Project, whilst learning more about its environmental importance. You can even ride a zip wire over the site these days!

A viral video shows a black girl being assaulted by a white woman in a corridor.

Police in Iceland are investigating after a British schoolgirl was slapped and chased by a tour guide in a hotel corridor.

The schoolgirl, 13, who attended Harris Girls’ Academy, was assaulted whilst on a school trip to Iceland to see the Northern Lights. The incident occurred at Hotel Örk, Hveragerdi on 13th October.
