Isle of Wight

Isle of Wight

The Isle of Wight is the largest island in England, and lies just off the southern coast close to Southampton and Portsmouth. Whilst well known for hosting major music events such as Bestival and the Isle of Wight Festival, there are many smaller sights to see island-wide - from historical ruins to modern attractions. Queen Victoria loved the island and spent long periods of time at her beloved Osborne House. You can now visit her own private beach and step inside her bathing machine!

There are also many areas of outstanding natural beauty to visit such as Compton Bay. With some great attractions such as Robin Hill Adventure Park & GardensEast Dene CentreIsle of Wight Zoo and The Needles Park to entertain both children and adults, there's plenty to do here that covers pretty much every subject you can think of!
