Stockport is an area with historic links to the cotton and hat industries. The local hat museum (above) offers an insight in to this. Underneath the streets of Stockport there is a maze of air raid tunnels used in World War II for you to explore. There is also plenty of fun to be had at local ceramics centres and climbing walls.
