Coventry has a rich history from its most famous resident Lady Godiva to the more recent production industries including bicycles, watches, motorcars and jet engines. Indeed Coventry is the birthplace of the British cycle and motor industry. You can delve into Coventry’s past at one of the many museums in the area - The Herbert museum and the Transport museum being great examples. The city’s most famous attraction is the cathedral - you can takes tours or even climb to the top of St. Michael’s Spire.

Around Coventry are three major towns - Stratford-upon-Avon, home to the greatest playwright of all William Shakespeare, Warwick, site of the stupendous Warwick Castle, and Kenilworth, home to another fabulous castle, Kenilworth Castle. In the area are beautiful old houses such as Charlecote Park or Baddesley Clinton, while canals and rivers play a huge role in defining the area's rural and industrial heritage.
