Life in Ipswich centres around the water and countryside. Visitors can venture out on to the water, even learning how to sail here themselves. The town celebrates its nautical past annually with a maritime festival offering historic re-enactments and entertainment. Jimmy’s Farm (as seen on TV) is a very popular attraction for children. In the surrounding Suffolk countryside can be found activities, adventure, artistic retreats and wonderful wildlife.
