We use physically and mentally challenging activities as a vehicle for personal and team development. However, we do adjust our activities to the age range and physical ability of each group.

Newcastle-upon-Tyne is in an ideal location it is set on the banks of the River Tyne and you can go from the bustling city to green open spaces in no time. The Beamish Museum, Discovery Museum and The Great North Museum offers an insight into the areas history. The Sage arena is the hub of culture, while the Geordies worship at St James' Park, home of Newcastle United FC. There are also local farms, ceramic centres, climbing and play centres to keep you entertained.

The home of the Venerable Bede, chronicler of the beginnings of English Christianity, Jarrow has become one of the best-understood Anglo-Saxon monastic sites. The Anglo-Saxon church - with the oldest dedication stone in the country, dated AD 685 - partly survives as the chancel of the parish church.
The beautiful 12th century church of the Augustinian priory of Brinkburn survives completely roofed and restored. Picturesquely set by a bend in the River Coquet, it is reached by a scenic ten minute walk from the car park. Parts of the monastic buildings are incorporated into the elegant adjacent manor house.
Spanning nine acres of land on its rocky plateau high above the Northumberland coastline, Bamburgh is one of the largest inhabited castles in the country.
The Farne Islands are possibly the most exciting seabird colony in England with unrivalled views of 23 species, including around 37,000 pairs of puffin.
It's also home to a large grey seal colony, with more than 1,000 pups born every autumn.
Historically, the islands have strong links with Celtic Christianity and St Cuthbert, who lived here in the 7th Century.
The Farne Islands lie two to three miles off the Northumberland coast midway between the fishing village of Seahouses and the magnificent Castle of Bamburgh. As well as being the most famous Sea Bird Sanctuary in the British Isles they also have a large colony of Atlantic or Grey Seals.
All Saints is a Parish Church in the Church of England serving the central area of Gosforth. It is a diverse, friendly and inclusive church community of about 400 people that seeks to explore, live and share the love of God and the good news of Jesus in a variety of ways.
The sandy beach is backed by dunes where a variety of flowers bloom: bluebells, cowslips, burnet roses and, to give it its common name, bloody cranesbill, amongst others.
Stephenson Railway Museum is open Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays until 2 November 2014 and all week during school holidays (excluding Christmas holidays). With heritage train rides on Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays.

Segedunum Roman Fort is the last outpost of Hadrian’s Wall. Home for 300 years to 600 soldiers guarding the furthest reaches of the Empire. Today it has an interactive museum, viewing tower, excavated remains and reconstructions.

Kirkley Hall is a 17th-century historic country mansion and Grade II listed building situated on the bank of the River Blyth at Kirkley, near Ponteland.

Set high on a dramatic escarpment of Hadrian's Wall World Heritage Site, Housesteads Roman Fort is a fascinating tourist attraction in the north east of England. There are some stunning panoramic views to enjoy from the walls of this ancient fortress.
A famous landmark of the north east, this saddle containing a single sycamore tree is an absolutely beautiful spot. It is a pleasant walk west from Housesteads Crag and was made famous by the film Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. The tree is now known as the 'Robin Hood tree'.
Thomas Bewick is perhaps Northumberland’s greatest artist: a wood engraver and naturalist who revolutionised print art in Georgian England.
