Built in 1675 following the Great Fire of Northampton, the Sessions House is often considered one of the finest provincial courthouses in England. The court finally moved in 1993, and the building stood empty until 2010 when a new visitor centre was opened. Of particular note is the plasterwork on the ceilings. The Sessions House is constructed of stone with baroque details.

TQ manages and runs Humphrey Head, an outdoor education centre in the South Lakes, for the delivery of outdoor education residential courses to schools, the Prince’s Trust, National Citizen Service and other organisations. Humphrey Head is approved by North Yorkshire County Council for use by North Yorkshire schools.

The BSKC is an arrive & drive karting championship that allows students to take part in competitive karting no matter their ability. This often appeals to students that are not actively involved in more traditional school sports.

It is organised by the British Automobile Racing Club (BARC).

Santa Pod Raceway in the UK is the home of European Drag Racing and host to the televised FIA / FIM European Drag Racing Championships. It's the fastest and loudest motorsport on earth with sensational race action from dragsters and doorslammers to beetles and bikes.

Home to a collection of exhibits and industrial artefacts, which include, steam and diesel locomotives, a life-size diorama of a quarry, along with many other interesting displays.

The lake can boast a wide range of geese, ducks, water fowl and the resisdential swans. The recent environmental project has improved fishing stocks. There are also herons, gulls and kingfishers that visit the lake along with a host of woodland and garden birds.

Indoor play area with loads of slides and fun features plus dedicated toddler zone, attached to a family restaurant. Outdoor play too in summer.
